Project overview
The British Frozen Food Federation was one of Pelican Communications largest clients and The Bulletin was their flagship publication. When it came to the Pelican team, the magazine was old, tired, and losing readership. We relaunched the magazine with a fresh look and new editorial spin.
I created every page layout for this 60+ page
magazine 6 times a year. With frozen food having a large role to play in broader sustainability issues, the goal of this revamp was to change the face of frozen food and to steer away from the false narrative of it being all 'peas and chips.'
Each issue focused around a feature article, which was a unique design every time, as well as a cover design that focused on the main theme of the issue.
Results
Over the course of the 2.5 years I worked on The Bulletin the readership increased, article submissions increased and I built a lasting relationship with the client.
